OUR REVOLUTION
Revolution Volleyball is a locally owned, family-first youth volleyball club serving Deerfield, Northbrook, Glenview, Vernon Hills, Lincolnshire, Wheeling, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and nearby communities. While players at larger programs can sometimes feel like just another number, our athletes get personalized skill development, consistent feedback, and coaches who know them by name and by game. The result is a fun, competitive environment where kids improve quickly, feel supported, and actually look forward to being in the gym.

The Revolution Defense
At Revolution Volleyball Club, our coaching philosophy is built on the innovative Revolution Defense system, a strategic approach inspired by Gold Medal Squared principles. This dynamic defense is designed to outsmart opponents by limiting their attacking options through precise player positioning that targets high-percentage hitting zones on the court. By combining a robust blocking scheme with seamless defensive shifts to cover open spaces, Revolution Defense maximizes our offensive opportunities while significantly reducing opponents’ scoring potential.
Each player is assigned a specific base position and movement pattern, ensuring comprehensive defensive coverage and readiness for offensive transitions. While adapting to the system may require an initial adjustment period for new athletes, our emphasis on footwork, strategic positioning, and athleticism equips players to execute our game plan with confidence. As players grow accustomed to the system, they unlock enhanced performance and a deeper understanding of the game — fueling their development as skilled, strategic athletes.
